The decision as to which hot tub shape to chose is very much a matter of personal preference; after of course the practical issues have been resolved. Round hot tubs tend to have open seating areas with banks of jets in strategic positions that define where the seats are. Round hot tubs tend to be favoured by garden designers as they are quite a traditional shape and do not tend to look as large as a square or rectangular hot tub of similar dimensions.

Square hot tubs are by far the most common hot tub made these days. This does not mean that they are superior to any of the other shapes of hot tub or Jacuzzi. Most square spas have some defined seating with different banks of jets in each seat. Some of the square hot tubs have lounger seats where you can recline back slightly and put your feet up. These seats normally have some form of jets for the leg area and most have foot massage jets. There are however a selection of square hot tubs without lounger seats. Most people who purchase a spa without a lounger prefer the idea of being able to face everyone who is sitting in the hot tub. They tend to have more seats than a hot tub with a lounger, making them ideal for large families or social occasions.

Rectangular hot tubs have one side of the hot tub slightly longer than the other. There is normally not much difference in length of the two sides, unless it is a 2-3 person spa. The 2-3 person spas normally boast a lounger and two other seats facing each other. They are perfect for couples who would prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet of their own company whilst in the hot tub. Like the square versions, you can chose from a rectangular jacuzzi with or without a lounger.

Our Octagonal hot tub stands out from the crowd. It has eight spacious seats, two of which are in the captain style layout, meaning that they have a defined area in which to sit. The other seats are more open plan, with banks of jets forming the positions in which to sit. The octagonal hot tub is very popular and the customers that have chosen this hot tub spend many hours entertaining guest and family in this large hot tub.
