How Does Aquafinesse work?

When you pour a cup of Aquafinesse into your Hot Tub it instantly begins to thin the " skin " of the water, this is the surface layer of the water that settles against the inner walls and pipes of your Hot Tub and is the place that Bacteria create their "Bio-Film" to multiply in, so quite simply the bacteria will not be able to settle anywhere, therefore unable to multiply.

The second function of Aquafinesse is to coagulate Bacteria. Normally Bacteria are so small they pass straight through your filter but with Aquafinesse any Bacteria brought in to your Hot Tub from an outside source will be killed by the Ozonator which are fitted to all Sapphire Spas.

The third function of Aquafinesses unique formula is that it softens water, breaks down and dissolves lime scale deposits. This will add years to the life of your Hot Tub by de-furring your heaters and pipes.

All you need is one cup of Aquafinesse a week which you pour it into your hot tub and turn your jets on for 2 minutes - That's it! No Testing, No Checking, No Chemistry Sets!

The Aquafinesse formula is low odour therefore it does not smell like Chlorine. It is an environmentally friendly formula that has had a light lavender scent added for improved Hot Tub use.

Directions for use:

1. Shake the bottle and add the correct measured amount of liquid to your hot tub water. Turn on your jets for a few minutes to mix.

2. Add a sanitising tablet to the dispenser supplied and put in the skimmer tray.

3. Clean your hot tub filters with a hose pipe, as the filters will be collecting the coagulated particles

We do not normally recommend using Aquafinesse until after your first water change, as all of our hot tubs are wet tested in the factory before delivery. This can mean that some water can remain in the pipework and bacteria can form. Aquafinesse has occassionally struggled to cope with this, so we recommend using either Chlorine or Bromine until your water change - which for new installations is best carried out within the first month.
